[A case of Hand-Schueller-Christian disease].

The author reported a case of a 1-year old girl with Hand-Schueller-Csristian disease. She. had a history of ear discharge, cerebral nerve palsy, cerebral pressure symptoms, and exophthalmos.. Radical mastoidectomy was performed under the possible otogenic meningitis. Histological examination of the specimen taken from the site of operation area,,revealed that of Hand-Schueller-Christian disease, and X-ray therapy was started one month after the operation. Nine months later, all symptoms except trigeminal palsy disappeared and mastoidectornizedi wound completely epithelialized.
